Stuff

Its getting closer until we go off on holidays in England. I think that I've done everything and arranged all that I can, but I still have insecurities. Have I done everything? There's still stuff about shower doors at Tullycavan to follow up.
I keep a journal in an A3 ring binder and at times end up with blank space which I fill with photos of foliage. I am amazed at how much I like them.

My favourite recent painting

This painting started out as an horrible experiment, but persistence turned it around.

Early in the week

Yesterday, (Monday), in Sale, at Couch, Athena and I did some gardening. It was a lovely sunny day for winter and quite relaxing. Athena did the Selene stuff while I was able read. Then the drive home in the stream of returning long-weekend traffic. Home to the unpacking and sorting out then and evening keeping near the heater. The day off ends with putting out the rubbish.

I want to fill this space and get in the habit

I sometimes write what I call aprose. I think of it as, not prose, or emaciated prose. I wrote the following a little while ago and when I look at I see it contains truth, but not the whole of truth.

Though I weep in self-pity
For the loss I feel
I know that I tried so hard
Yet still could not find
My way
Into the presence of Love
I felt turned away
To walk alone
For a time
To the sound of my footfalls
Then I noticed yours
Had joined me
And my hand was held

A neophyte drying its wings

It's the beginning and I wonder how much will actually happen? I've started as an alternative way to communicate during our holiday. So I'll soon see how this goes
