Buying Fish for Tea

Down to the beach to buy fresh  fish for tea. It's threatened by State Government changes. So we signed the petition.

Drawings

I want to cry
to mourn
the lost
the broken
the unfulfilled
but here I am
now not then
that is what I have to offer

Watercolour pencil on rice paper. Not really finished, but probably not going any further.

An old thought returns one afternoon.

A longer journey ahead.

A little awkward, but Zaa says most of the right things.

Bulga Park and Tullycavan

Bulga Park in the eastern Strezlecki's is a little bit of temperate rain forest with mountain ash, antarctic beech and tree ferns & etc. On Sunday we had a family picnic there. A sublime time with weather, food and conversation giving delight to life.

Coming down Mount Tasman into the valley.
My little obsession with pattern and texture.

Seeing in the New Year

We drove to Inverloch to picnic on New Years Eve. It was a beautiful late afternoon driving down the tree lined country roads with the paddocks a pale green after being cut for hay and the other grass long and yellow. We picnicked on the beach and wandered into down for the early fireworks.

Since I last posted. Some things

Some work in various mediums. Mostly watercolour, but also pencil and tempera.
