We were in Inverloch on the weekend so that Athena could conduct a wedding. It is good to displace the demands of home every now and then by being somewhere else. I enjoyed the chance to read the Saturday paper to distraction.
On Sunday we headed home to mollify the dogs, but then went to Melbourne so that we could visit Athena's mum today. We picnicked by the bay in warm sunshine and still air.
We went to Raymond Island and A'Beckett Park this weekend to work on some jobs and to relax. I enjoyed all of it. We worked painting and gardening. We relaxed talking, sharing meals, going for walks and for some taking out canoes. We saw our quota of koalas, guided a blue tongue lizard out of the hall and enjoyed the warm sunshine of early autumn.
Now I reach the glacial stage in a painting, where I sit on it for awhile to see if any further change comes out of contemplation of what is there now.
