Phone photos

Recently I bought an Android based 'smart' phone from the low end of the market. One of the things that I was pleased with was the 'idea of' the 3mp camera. I knew that it wouldn't necessarily take great photos, but at least an acceptable record. At first I was disappointed because they didn't seem any better than my previous VGA quality photos. Yesterday I downloaded  photos from the camera and in their own abbreviated way I think they have a 'nice syntax', but maybe its 'Stockholm Syndrome'. Anyway here they are.
Taken in Yarragon looking north. I like its plainness in the foreground contrasted with the turbulent sky.
The golden glow of the sunset reflecting off the bargeboard and the chimney caught my eye. Considering the quality of the image there seemed no point in cropping to highlight this. Besides the whole image has its own quality.
Church interior with recalcitrant sensor light. I like the way that the windows image has been simplified along with the steel reinforcing bars.
