A Weeks Holiday
We've been away on holiday. Some time at Tullycavan and sometime visiting my aunt at Lake Bolac where there happened to be one of my cousin's, her husband and two of their grandchildren. So there was that mysterious sense of connectedness that family brings to life experience.
I am amazed by how different life on holiday is, and I shouldn't be, I get a sense of endlessness in my experience of it. I love being away from towns and in the country where it gets very dark at night. Where sound sort of needs to be, sort out, rather than having it thrust upon me.
We came back from Lake Bolac to Tullycavan via Kensington to stay with Arion and do a little work. On Sunday we went to Church in Mirboo North, to the contemporary service. It happened to be in the round. It was lovely. Worshipful, relaxed and engaged. Afterwards lunch with friends. Almost the same.
I'll follow with some pictures

Jaffas paint Easter Murals
The Yarragon mural
Trafalgar's mural
Both of these are obviously using the same drawing as a basis. I suppose that medieval colour symbolism could have been followed, but once the painting gets underway control is mostly lost. After both Jaffas were finished there little bits of editing to do and then up they went.

Away camping
We had 2 nights away camping. One at Blue Pool and another by the Thompson River. At Blue pool we went for a walk. It's so nice to be outside in uncultivated landscape, although of course it has been gone over by miners and probably timber getters in the past.

Blackburn Lake
On Sunday afternoon we went to Blackburn for Athena and siblings to go though some of her mother's effects and divide them. Things went well on a task that can be fraught. We stayed overnight and the next morning before the aportioning continued Athena and I went for a walk around Blackburn Lake. It was very enjoyable except, for me, the stony bit of the path because I was barefoot. I am trying to get around barefoot as much as possible while the weather allows and now and then I get caught out.
After the task was over we went to visit Arion. In the late afternoon we went to beach at Williamstown for a swim. It was wonderful. Hanging around in cool seawater and talking with the backdrop of the multitudinous humanity on the sand.
Much later after enjoying tea in the backyard we drove home.
